In order to recover and publicise the history of Castell de la Suda, the La Suda Interpretation Centre was created in 2011, a display space for which we created various one-off pieces.
The design of this ephemeral space, which is open to the public, meant we needed to create display panels in the shape of a lamp with lighting and a lifting system using pulleys on the ceiling. To create these lamps, we used a curved structure of aluminium tubes covered in stretched and printed translucent fabric, held in place using high-adherence Velcro.
On the lookout terrace, we placed some elements made to look like large spyglasses, created out of lacquered aluminium, supported on the floor using a 15 mm-thick aluminium tube and an internal system where historical images of the monumental complex can be admired.
