Ephemeral spaces

The conceptualisation and design of ephemeral spaces is one of ESSA PUNT’s specialities

We handle the manufacturing, assembly and dismantling of installations for all kinds of events (trade booths for events and trade fairs, etc.), as well as the creation of visual sets for window displays and exhibitions
-–permanent or temporary– in museums, art galleries, etc.

We work side-by-side with architects, interior designers, advertising firms, marketing and communications agencies, etc. to design and manufacture functional ephemeral spaces, custom-made for our clients, which reflect the brand identity and have a visual effect that will be memorable to user.

The creation of ephemeral spaces

It’s all about designing and creating a temporary installation that serves its purpose during the set timeframe, which could be a few hours, a few days, a month, etc. Their use is ephemeral but we manage to get a very direct message across.
  • Trade booths
  • Window displays
  • Decorative elements
  • Exhibitions
  • Set design elements

It has an impact and leaves its mark

The design of ephemeral spaces must meet a double objective: functionality and aesthetics.

Temporary installations are designed to transmit a clear and direct message in a very short timeframe, which means we have to design attractive and original elements that help attract the attention of users and potential clients quickly.

If you want to bring your brand identity to life in a booth for an event or trade fair, a one-off marketing activity or design elements for a window display, among other things, get in touch with us and we’ll work with your to define the design of your ephemeral space.

We have our own facilities with the latest technological tools and the know-how of our artisan team to design and manufacture to measure all of the necessary structures and to create an original and eye-catching visual combination with a perfect finish.

Design of ephemeral spaces:
From idea to final assembly

Here at ESSA PUNT we conduct the whole process, from the conceptualisation of the initial idea to the final assembly of the ephemeral spaces. During the whole process, it’s important not to lose track of what our client’s needs are.

To design ephemeral spaces, conceptualisation is one of the most important parts of the process. It’s essential to know how to bring the client’s idea to life so that the audience can understand its meaning. Atracting attention, being eye-catching, visual, synthetic and effective. These are the elements that any kind of ephemeral design must meet. What’s more, to get the perfect result, you can never lose track of why the client has decided to create this type of element. Their needs are the basis that helps us conceptualise what the final result should be.

When we have designed and shaped out the concept on which communication will be focused, it’s time to bring it to life; in other words, we assess and define what structures are necessary and which materials we are going to use to create it.

The choices are endless: wood, metal, iron, aluminium, polyurethane, glass, etc. Based on the conditions of the space where it’s going to be installed –inside or outside– and the message and values clients wants to get across, we choose both the raw materials and the different finishes: varnish, paint, welding, lacquer, digital printing, lettering, etc. We study and assess each project in a personalised way to adapt to the requirements of the space and the weight the structure needs to support.

How do we achieve perfect results?

The key to success and obtaining unbeatable results is constant communication with clients, keeping them up-to-date on the processes being carried out, the decisions being made and how work is progressing.

Through two-way communication, we are able to adapt to your needs, budget and any other kind of requirement that we should take into consideration.

Here at ESSA PUNT, we can make any product desirable. Over our thirty years of experience, we have conceptualised and designed ephemeral spaces for all kinds of clients and sectors, from the hotel industry to fashion, fine dining, etc., always committed to the aesthetic and emotional components that seduce observers.

When designing visual elements, our goal is to have an impact, in other words, to attract the target audience’s attention and make the brand stand out from the crowd, focussing on representing the client’s values. We specialise in developing and creating elements that have the most impact on the observer and are memorable for a long time.

What’s more, we also offer a dismantling service for the pieces once the exhibition has finished. It’s possible to dismantle it and assemble it somewhere else or to get rid of it. That’s why we take into consideration using recyclable materials that don’t harm the environment.
